Want to dive deeper into God’s word and learn how your story fits into God’s narrative? Want to be more prepared to serve in your church or small group? This certificate is for you! During these series of 2 credit-hour classes, you’ll gain foundational skills and knowledge to equip you for the mission field, lay leadership, and personal growth. Discover the different stories that God has been telling for centuries and find out how you can enter into His story no matter who you are or where you are headed.

The Story of God's Word
Dr. Kenneth Cuffey
An integrative overview of the narrative of the Bible, describing the story of God’s work to form a people of his own that begins in the Garden in Genesis, climaxes in the work of Jesus, and culminates in eternity in Revelation.
The Story of God
Dr. Todd Daly
An investigation of the character of God as revealed in the story of redemption from Eden to the New Jerusalem. This story describes the God who creates, pursues, redeems, and transforms us through the triune activities of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Story of God's People
Dr. Joseph Thomas
An integrative overview of the story of God’s work in and through his people, starting with the end of the Apostolic Era, and considering the Early Church, Middle Ages, Reformation, and Modern Era.
The Story of Spiritual Growth
Dr. Peter Spychalla
An exploration of your story – your inner spiritual life and the process of spiritual growth. Consideration of how to discern God’s leading and learn who he created you to be.
The Story of God's Mission
Dr. Anne Alexander
A brief survey of the story of the mission of God around the world. Biblical foundations for mission, history and approaches to mission, and personal involvement in world missions and evangelism.
The Story of Our Stories
Dr. Melody Green
A consideration of what a story is, what makes stories effective, and how God uses story to form and transform his people. Evaluation of the narrative of redemption in the Bible as story and of the impact of stories outside the Bible that represent God’s truth.
