Auditing a class is a great way to test the waters and makes a seminary education accessible to everyone.

“Thanks to Urbana Theological Seminary, I have learned more about the Bible, theology, and church history over the past six or seven years than I had in the previous 50-some years. I have found that auditing the classes is a good way to go, and you can’t beat the price. If you want to increase your understanding of Scripture, the church, and other topics such as C.S. Lewis’s writing, I strongly encourage you to take classes at Urbana Theological Seminary.”

- Doug Peterson, Auditing Student

Come to class, take it all in, and build friendships with others serious about growing in Christ!

An Audit means you can come to class, but have no obligations to do any of the homework.

You can listen and learn.  You can do any of the assignments, read any of the books, if you’re interested–but you have no obligation to do so.  No one assigns a grade for you.  And you meet and get to relate to a whole new circle of friends who are in the class since they want to pursue going deeper with Jesus and understand his Word. You become a valued member of the Seminary’s learning community.
