Continuing Education

CEUs are ideal for those who want to go deeper than just an audit, but not earn credit for a degree. Whether for the individual just beginning their exposure to seminary study, or for a pastor's continuing growth, CEUs may be the perfect stimulus for growth in Christ.

Urbana Seminary has been a guide for me. UTS has helped me to love God more by seeing the Scriptures in a new light. I realize there is room often for varying views concerning a topic. I now have a deeper understanding of God’s ways and his character.
- Brenda Tennill, UTS Student

Do you want to understand more about your faith, Scripture, God, and ministry?

And have something tangible to show for it?

But you don’t want to pursue credit to gain a degree?  CEUs may be exactly the thing for you!  Those who enroll in a course for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) come to class and soak it all in–content, learning, relationships with others–just like an Audit.  Then you complete a limited set of assignments (not at all as much as a credit student, but something, and hence more than an Audit).  Upon finishing the semester you receive a CEU Certificate that proves your participation for your records and resume.

To pursue a course(s) to earn CEUs, you will need to fill out the brief Visiting Student application and sign up for your classes.
